Miguel Angel Lopez gained stage 17 of the Tour de France as Primoz Roglic prolonged his lead within the race.

Astana’s Lopez pulled away from the opposite normal classification contenders on the ultimate climb of the day, beating Roglic into second by 15 seconds.

The stage victory took Lopez into third total, whereas Roglic moved virtually a minute clear as his fellow Slovenian Tadej Pogacar got here residence third.

Rigoberto Uran, who went into the stage in third, was virtually two minutes again.
