A girl who had her left ear amputated following growing skin cancer claims she hopes the others will learn from her mistakes.

Anthea Smith, 44, from Bolton, advised the BBC’s Staffordshire reporter Laura Mcmullan, herself a former youth enthusiast who developed melanoma, she did not realise the risks.

The cancer charity, Melanoma UK, is calling for a ban on sunbeds in England.
