The Good Morning Britain presenter has shifted his profile image into the NHS’ emblem and agreed to cover for employees’s parking tickets amid the coronavirus pandemic.
And that he was not happy when someone implied the “worship” of the NHS had gone too far.
Piers was quick to endure for the individuals that are combating with the virus around the frontline.
The 55-year old quoted a tweet that stated: “NHS worship is going to be even more insufferable once this is done than it was before, isn’t it?”
He additional: “Most disgusting tweet of the #Coronavirus crisis so far – & the bar was very very low.”
Not everyone agreed with him .
One reacted: “It’s really not disgusting at all, Piers. If I understand correctly, Andrew is referring to worship of the NHS as a system, not NHS staff. NHS staff are doing a fantastic job in the cirumstnes, but that shouldn’t hide the fact that the NHS itself needs reform, not worship.”
And just another submitted: “There have been far, far worse tweets than this Piers, some of them have been yours.”
Others believed Piers had a point however.
One composed: “NHS are fab!”
And another responded: “He would feel different if they saved one of his love ones the NHS deserve more praise and anyone can give them”
Piers also reacted to a fan who asked him why he is “so angry all the time”.
He advised them”Hi Matthew, I guess it’s because 1000s of people have died or are fighting for their lives from Coronavirus, incl dozens of NHS workers, & numerous people I know – and our Govt should have done so much more to curb the carnage.”

And he told one worried enthusiast to not be concerned about him.
The enthusiast had tweeted: “I’m so sick of hearing people slag off @piersmorgan saying he is scaremongering and talking rubbish, he is the one person who is demanding the truth and asking the real questions, I for one look forward to his tweets and his reporting, keep up the good work sir”
Piers composed: “Thanks Peter, don’t worry – the trolls won’t deter me however abusive they get (& this crisis has brought out some real vermin) – it’s impossible to ‘scaremonger’ something as awful as this, & I’ll keep challenging the Govt on everything they do & say.”
