A caller unleashed his fury over the concept low-risk prisoners might be launched early amid the coronavirus pandemic, startling host Jeremy Vine within the course of.

Aavi, from Leicestershire, descended into an offended rant as he demanded that individuals who “do the crime, do the time” and demanded that they “build some prisons”.

When Jeremy urged that prisoners weren’t despatched to jail to catch a nasty sickness, the caller exploded: “I could catch a nasty illness cutting the grass!”
